New Fairfield Public Schools

On Tuesday, November 11, all NHFS students and staff gathered in the gym for a special assembly in honor of Veterans Day. Our honored speaker was Chief Warrant Officer 4 Tom McGurn, an Army helicopter pilot and author of the book Check Ride, who shared stories of his service, and a call to our students to active citizenship. The assembly was organized by NFHS students Francine Marlow, Aldinne Orozco Mejicanos, Gabby Alit, Dennis Cascio, Francesca Boffardi, and Mason Kyriacou with assistance from Mr. Chapleau.
