The Vaccination Van is coming back to New Fairfield and Sherman! Attached is the new schedule for the first three months of 2022. Please note that the first six Wednesdays (beginning 1/12) are at one of our local schools (Meeting House Hill, NF High School, or Sherman School) in the late afternoon to encourage vaccinations of school-age children, the demographic with the lowest vaccination rates in New Fairfield and Sherman. The clinics at the schools are set up to accommodate children over 5 and will also have separate stations for adults. We will continue the normal schedule of Saturday vaccinations at NF High School for the general population and will pick up again at St. Edwards on Wednesdays after the school clinics are completed.
The Vaccination Van clinics are walk-in and provide all three vaccines – Pfizer, Moderna, and J&J. They provide first and second doses and boosters. Anyone over 12 can be vaccinated at any clinic on the schedule. Children between 5-11 years old can only be vaccinated at a clinic highlighted in blue on the attached schedule.
