The Interior Design Open House was a great success!
Interior Design students were to construct a 3D Mini Room of choice. Ms. Giddings supplied students with popsicle sticks, straws, toothpicks, coffee stirrers, cardboard, fabric, all types of glue, acrylic paint, watercolor paint, and more. Their room was to include the principles and elements of design that they worked on throughout the semester. Students were required to include various built elements, soft goods, textures, and decorations. They began sketching a plan for their room design and then started building. The project engaged student's hands-on creativity and encouraged collaboration. The Interior Design students were very proud of their rooms.
