Dear Families,
It is with great pride and admiration that I am able to share with you that Mrs. Allyson Story will be the Head Campus Principal at Consolidated/Meeting House Hill Schools beginning July 1, 2022. Many of you know Mrs. Story from MHHS and will understand why we are so pleased to have her leading Cons/MHHS. Allyson is a strong instructional leader who has prepared a comprehensive entry plan that will allow her to build strong relationships with staff, students and the community. Together with her staff she will establish and communicate a shared vision that capitalizes on our strengths, plans and future goals. Allyson is prepared to lead both staffs in establishing a positive culture and climate that ensures both schools maintain their identity while beginning to target opportunities for shared experiences and success. I am confident that Allyson will be an approachable leader who is supportive and kind and who puts children first.
On Thursday, May 5, 2022, Mrs. Story will be appointed to the new position by the New Fairfield Board of Education. She follows the outstanding leadership of Mr. Spino, who will remain on staff, and Mr. Mandracchia who has accepted a prestigious job at the CT State Department of Education. Please join me in thanking both Mr. Spino and Mr. Mandracchia for their dedicated contributions to New Fairfield and our children and welcoming Mrs. Story to her new position!
