The Marching Band is committed to providing a musical and marching experience in an educational environment. Our objective is to prepare our students to perform in a marching program after high school especially with a college or university marching band. We train our students in parade as well as field marching and provide performance opportunities at a variety of venues. The Rebels Marching Band provides entertainment during Halftime at home varsity football games, and participates in marching band field competitions throughout the region during the fall. During the late spring, the marching band performs in local parades as our schedule allows and in the Danbury Memorial Day parade. This allows our students to experience another educational aspect of musical performance while fostering a sense of pride, community and patriotism.
