College Visits/Summer Programs

College Visits:

Please note that college visits will resume in September 2012 and continue through November. Juniors and Seniors are eligible to sign up for these meetings.

*Students should sign up for college visits directly on Naviance Family Connection, but will need to obain passes from the College and Career Center or Guidance prior to each meeting. College Reps typically visit between September through early December each fall. We also host an on-site decision day for Western CT State University in December and and on-site application day for Naugatuck Valley Community College in March. Attendance is limited to Juniors and Seniors. Students should always check with their teachers prior to attending a college meeting.

  • to access the list of upcoming college visits, log into Naviance Family Connection,  go the  "college tab" and then "upcoming college visits". Click on "sign up" and then once more on the window that opens to confirm. You can also remove your name from the sign-up up to the day before. An updated copy of the schedule is also posted on the Guidance door and outside the College and Career Center.
  • *Please see Mrs Raneri if you need to update your email address (which is your username for Naviance) or password, or need assistance navigating Family Connection
  •  Parents are invited to attend these info sessions as well. Interested parents should contact Mrs. Raneri in College and Career ahead of time to ensure space is available.
  •  Students should consider these meetings as an interview opportunity with the college representative and make the best impression possible. Often, the visiting college representative will be reading NFHS applications
