New Fairfield High School

CAPT/Standardized Testing Information

CAPT Information:

The test is given to all sophomores, each March. Students new to the school district or juniors who did not pass the previous year must retake any or all parts of the CAPT. The 2012 CAPT tests are scheduled from Monday March 5th through March 14th.

Certification in all four sections of the CAPT is a graduation requirement. Students who do not achieve certification will be able to prove proficiency by alternate measures.

Our freshmen take the CAPT practice test and receive results before the end of the school year.
