The role of today’s administrator is to promote and continue to foster an educationally sound environment, while challenging students to gain the knowledge and skills in order to be successful members of society.  All stakeholders involved in the educational process should aid in creating a professional learning community that challenges everyone.  In doing so, the development of a positive, rigorous, and varied educational climate will ensue.  In order to accomplish this, the Board of Education, administration, faculty members, parents, students and community members must all be part of the learning process.  Everyone involved with a student’s education should accept this process as an education for all.  In acting as a true community, all those involved can take pride in providing an educationally sound foundation for everyone to learn.

I highly encourage students (and parents) to get involved!  New Fairfield High School offers a wealth of services and programs that will help each student reach their potential.  The experiences students will encounter with fellow classmates, faculty members and volunteers will allow students to gain the knowledge and skills that will allow students to pursue their dreams.
