Welcome to the 2011-2012 School Year
New Fairfield High School strives to provide a safe educational environment in which all students acquire the knowledge and skills to become lifelong learners and responsible citizens within a diverse society and changing world.
It is important that every student participate actively in their education by meeting academic, civic, and social standards. Students are strongly encouraged to participate in at least one co-curricular activity. Participating in these activities broadens a student's awareness of their school and community. It allows students to meet new people, develop new skills, and assume leadership roles. Every student must perform 15 hours of community service per year giving them an opportunity to contribute to their school and community.
It is our goal to ensure that every student graduating from New Fairfield High School leaves with skills that will enable them to pursue their post-secondary education and career goals.
