  Welcome to the 2011-2012

              School Year   Smile

Meeting House Hill School with grades 3-5, is in between the primary and middle school grades.  It's a wonderful age group, a time known as "middle childhood."  We are the bridge between the self-contained class of the primary years and the more departmentalized program typical of middle schools.  Students in fifth grade will generally have several teachers, while those in third and fourth will remain with one or two teachers for most of the day.  For the 2011-2012 school year, Meeting House Hill School has about 600 students.  Homerooms average about 23 students each.  Grades three, four and five each have 9 homerooms.

In addition to the normal academic program, Meeting House Hill offers a variety of before and after school enrichment programs.  We are also fortunate to have connections with our community that enrich our students’ education.

We are happy to report that our renovation project is underway!  It will be a two year project to renovate the entire building.  We expect all renovations to be completed by the winter of 2013.  Please visit the tab labeled "renovation project" and scan over to "beginning September 2011" and "renovation communication" for frequent updates and letters sent home. You can also look at other tabs for the history of our project.  Thanks to our community for this amazing gift!

We welcome you to our school community!
