Lets Move in School

Everyone in school participated in "Let's Move in School".  The entire school went down to our lower baseball field to take part in the fun activity.  Mr. "B" (Buchsbaum) led the school in fun movement activities.  Enjoy the photos!

Congratulations to Mrs. Petruso's first grade class.  After the earthquake and tsunami in Japan, Mrs. Petruso's students decided that they want to send money to the Red Cross to help the people in Japan.  After a class discussion, it was decided that they would do chores at home to raise the money.  They were so excited, that they invited the rest of the classes in school to join them.  In a very short time, more than $800 was raised and presented to the Red Cross.  The Red Cross was pleased and so proud of the students, that they sent a respresenative to thank the class.

Thank you Mrs. Allen's class for visiting our office and singing your class' rendition of "ABC".  You were all terrific - including the conductor.

Japan:

This year staff and students are learning about Japan.  We've had 2 assemblies with wonderful and informative guest speakers.  We hope you enjoy some of the photos below:

Happy Chinese New Year!!!  We were very lucky to be visited by a Chinese dragon and parade today, February 3rd.  When you see a dragon, it is good luck.  Thank you to Mrs. McArthur's class for sending the dragon our way.

Birthdays at Consolidated School

We celebrate birthdays here at Consolidated School every Friday by taking group photos of all the birthday kids (young and old). We usually take a serious one (where mom will say, 'AH!') and a 'crazy face' one where we just have fun.  Check out some of our birthday photos.
