Presentation: COMMON CORE STANDARDS
The Common Core State Standards (CCSS), adopted by 46 states, are high standards, grades K-12, which are important because they help ensure that all students, not matter where they live, are college and career ready. They help set clear and consistent expectations for students, parents, and teachers; build your child's knowledge and skills; and help set challenging goals for all students. Standards provide an important roadmap for learning that helps families and teachers work together to ensure that students succeed. We look forward to working as a community to help every student succeed using the CCSS.
