The Registrar's Office at the Middle School is responsible for keeping all student data up-to-date and accurate. It is very important to contact our school to inform us of any telephone or email address changes as soon as possible, so that the lines of communication via SASI (our Student Administrative Software Information system) and ALERTNOW (our automated calling system) remain correct.
Changing job locations, Emergency Contacts moving away, changing the family doctor - these are all examples of information that the school should be made aware of.
Please keep in mind that should an Emergency occur and the ALERTNOW system is used to contact all primary parent/guardian numbers - your work number, if supplied, will be accessed. Remember to furnish us with only direct dial numbers, as ALERTNOW cannot dial extensions. Also please be sure to notify your employer of the possibility of this type of call from the school to avoid any misunderstanding when the call comes through.
Student Information forms are sent home at the beginning of every school year to give you the opportunity to update this information. Should changes occur throughout the year simply contact Donna Fejes at dfejes@new-fairfield.k12.ct.us to notify us of a change of any kind for your student's records. Updates are usually made the same day, thereby informing the school nurse, teachers, administrators and counselors of these changes via computer.
In this way we always have the most up-to-date information aiding both your student's safety while at school, as well as keeping you notified of school's activities.
We want you to feel secure about your children while they're at school, and we truly appreciate your assistance in helping us keep your student's records as accurate as possible throughout the year.
