Mr. Akter comes to us from St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, CT where he has been the Director of Music since 2002. He graduated Cum Laude from the Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, in 1997 with a B. M. in Music Education and went on to receive his M.A. in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan University in 2003. Currently Mr. Akter is enrolled at Fordham University pursuing a Administration and Supervision certificate. Mr. Akter has also taught elementary general music in Milford and Killingworth.</FONT></div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 245 WIDTH="457"><div>  <A NAME="la"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Times New Roman" ><B><IMG SRC="1141d1c0.gif" border=0 width="29" height="28" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"> </B></FONT>Stacey Ogden is the general music teacher at New Fairfield Middle School. Mrs. Ogden has previously taught at the Six to Six Magnet School in Bridgeport, CT and Deben High School in Felixstowe, England. She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2001 with a BA in Music and a BS in Education. Mrs. Ogden then completed her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Phoenix, where she is now an instructor for graduate and undergraduate education students. She also recently became a certified school administrator. In addition to her teaching duties, Mrs. Ogden volunteers at the Danbury Animal Welfare Society and is a member of the Connecticut Master Chorale</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 187 WIDTH="457"><div> <B> <A NAME="__mrs__gwynne_wittmann_"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A></B><B><IMG SRC="1141d1c0.gif" border=0 width="29" height="28" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">  </B><FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" >Mrs. Gwynne Wittmann has been the Choral Director in New Fairfield since 1996.  She directs the Middle School Chorus, High School Concert Choir, and Chamber Singers.  Mrs. Wittmann also teaches Music Theory and works as Vocal Director for the spring musical.  Mrs. Wittmann sings professionally as soprano soloist and section leader at St. Paul's On The Green Episcopal Church in Norwalk and has had solo engagements with various ensembles, including Connecticut Grand Opera, Middletown Chorale, Vespera Chorale, and the Newtown Choral Society.</FONT></div> </tD> </tR> </TABLE></div> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
