Mr. Akter comes to us from St. Joseph High School in Trumbull, CT where he has been the Director of Music since 2002. He graduated Cum Laude from the Hartt School of Music, University of Hartford, in 1997 with a B. M. in Music Education and went on to receive his M.A. in Liberal Studies from Wesleyan University in 2003. Currently Mr. Akter is enrolled at Fordham University pursuing a Administration and Supervision certificate. Mr. Akter has also taught elementary general music in Milford and Killingworth.</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 188 WIDTH="457"><div> <FONT SIZE="3" COLOR="#000000" FACE="Arial" > <A NAME="la"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A></FONT><B><IMG SRC="1141d1c0.gif" border=0 width="29" height="28" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0"> </B>Stacey Campbell is the general music teacher at New Fairfield Middle School.  Miss Campbell has previously taught at the Six to Six Magnet School in Bridgeport, CT and Deben High School in Felixstowe, England.  She graduated from the University of Connecticut in 2001 with a BA in Music and a BS in education.  Miss Campbell then completed her Master's in Curriculum and Instruction at the University of Phoenix and recently became a certified school administrator.  In addition to her teaching duties, Miss Campbell also volunteers at the Danbury Animal Welfare Society and is busy planning her July 2008 wedding!</div> </tD> </tR> <tR> <tD VALIGN=TOP HEIGHT= 169 WIDTH="457"><div> <B> <A NAME="__mrs__gwynne_wittmann_"><IMG BORDER="0" SRC="1x1.gif" HEIGHT="1" ALIGN="bottom" WIDTH="1" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0" ></A></B><B><IMG SRC="1141d1c0.gif" border=0 width="29" height="28" ALIGN="BOTTOM" HSPACE="0" VSPACE="0">  </B>Mrs. Gwynne Wittmann has been the Choral Director in New Fairfield since 1996.  She directs the Middle School Chorus, High School Concert Choir, and Chamber Singers.  Mrs. Wittmann also teaches Music Theory and works as Vocal Director for the spring musical.  Mrs. Wittmann sings professionally as soprano soloist and section leader at St. Paul's On The Green Episcopal Church in Norwalk and has had solo engagements with various ensembles, including Connecticut Grand Opera, Middletown Chorale, Vespera Chorale, and the Newtown Choral Society.</div> </tD> </tR> </TABLE></div> <bR> <bR> <bR> <bR> </td> </tr></table></body>
