The school day begins at 8:40 am and ends at 3:25 PM. If you, drive your child to school in the morning, please do not schedule for him/her to arrive at school before 8:25 AM. as there is no supervision before then.

Drop-off and Pickup Procedures We encourage you to have your children ride the bus. Picking your children up in the afternoon, often means they are missing valuable instruction, which continues until 3:10. If you need to drive your child, please remember our drop off and pick up procedures. Please ALWAYS use the front entrance. The EAST EXIT is reserved for buses only. Please pull all the way down to the stop sign before dropping off your child. Children who arrive late must report to the office and sign in before going to class. If you are picking up your child after school, please arrange to do so after 3:25 PM at the front exit. He/she will be dismissed with the walkers after the buses are called. When picking up, again use the front entrance. You must park, come into the building and sign out your child unless another arrangement has been made. Buses line up at both the East and Front entrances by 3:10, so these must be kept clear. Please help us by letting buses in and out. If you need to pick up your child during dismissal time because of an emergency, please stop in the Office to sign him / her out, but remember to reserve this action for emergencies only. No student will be paged for dismissal between 3:10 - 3:25 PM. This is a busy time as students are passing, homeroom teachers are giving end of day instructions, and buses are being called. Announcements during this time interrupt a school closing for all students. We appreciate your support in helping us with smooth and save procedures.
