They will be given an ample amount of time to complete their assignment pad. This pad will be brought home every night and brought back to school every morning. I will check  each day to make sure your child has written the correct assignments into their homework pad. Please sign your initials in the message box on that days assignment. This will indicate to me that you have checked to see if the assignments were completed and put back into the correct folder. Feel free to write me a short note in the message box, however if it is urgent, you may wish to send in a separate note for me to see.</div> <bR> <div> If homework is not handed to me on any given day, your child will be bringing home a yellow slip that will indicate the missing or incomplete assignment. This will need to be signed by the parent and brought back the next day with the missing homework completed. If both things are not brought back, your child will miss recess that day.</div> <bR> <div> I understand that every family has a very busy life. If in the event your child is unable to complete their homework because of "overload", please write me a note, and I will allow your child to complete it the next evening, and not miss a day of recess.</div> <bR> <div> Reading logs are to be turned in every Monday. They must have the total number of minutes read for the week and a parents initials. If it is not turned in by Wednesday, the child will automatically miss recess and receive a zero for that weeks reading log.
