Parent Assistance

Dear Parents,

We are in need of some assistance as we work on this year's spring musical, Footloose.  If you are available to help us out, please return the form at the bottom.  Below are some of the areas in which we need assistance:

Costumes:

     Designing, sewing, and altering various costumes

     Scouring thrift shops and Goodwill for costume pieces

     Measuring actors and making alterations

     Assisting students with quick-changes and organizing costumes at performances

Publicity:

     Writing articles for the local newspapers

     Assisting in maintaining the show website

     Hanging posters and posting yard signs around town

     Announcing the show (featuring YOUR child) in community publications and at community events

Tickets:

     Processing phone reservations and ticket payments

     Assisting with ticket sales/program distribution on show nights

Performance Assistance:

     Styling hair for actors before each performance

     Doing stage make-up for actors before each performance

Hospitality:

     Organizing meals for the cast and crew during long rehearsals

     Assisting with cast parties (hosting, planning, supervising)
