Concert Band
Directed by Scott King
During the winter and spring, concert performances are highlights for the students, parents and many within and without the school community. The primary objective is to hone their skills for music composed to highlight the instrumentation of the Concert Band. The students perform a varied repetoire consisting of standard concert band literature, new traditional and contemporary (varied use of tonalities and textures) compositions for concert band, and arrangements of popular music, movie soundtracks or musical theatre selections.
