Looking for NFHS & MS Students to form teams . . .
Odyssey of the Mind is an international educational program that challenges students to creatively solve problems and then present their solutions at state, national and world-wide competitions! Two of New Fairfield's teams made it to the World Finals in May! Each year, Odyssey teams choose one of five problems. The solutions to the problems range from building mechanical devices to creatively presenting a new interpretation of a classic story. Students learn how to work in a group, make decisions, evaluate ideas and find multiple solutions to a problem. A State Rep for OTM will be conducting the information session.
In addition to students, WE NEED PARENTS who would like to be team coaches & judges (training provided). Problem descriptions and other information are available at the CTOM website: www.ctom.org.
If you are interested in forming a team, please call 312-5983 or email me
